||A descendent of the Fort Hunter Mohawks and member of the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte, Brandon carries with him much of his Longhouse traditional knowledge and proudly shares his culture and way of being in the work he does. Brandon hits the ‘Pow Wow trail’ as a traditional dancer, drummer and singer during the summer months, attending many local Indigenous gatherings and celebrations across Ontario. He is an excellent Indigenous role model and has experience as an ambassador for ‘Take Your Future Further’ through the Council of Ontario Universities (2016). He has also received professional accolades and student awards for his work in education promotion. Brandon was also a guest speaker on ‘Inspiring Aboriginal Learner’s’ on TVO’s The Agenda in March 2016. Brandon brings a lot of youthful exuberance to the corporate office and to MAPP Canada; he is looking forward to connecting with Indigenous youth and travelling to Indigenous communities near and far to spread the word about MAPP Canada and to help capture the thousands of amazing and inspiring stories that First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples want to share with Canada and the world.
